My left shoulder froze after a cancer related surgery which required a shoulder manipulation. I have had different stages of discomfort since. Additionally, I have had numerous problems with pain in my neck and shoulders. Earlier this year, my Internal Medicine doctor suggested that I would, more than likely, get some benefit from Chiropractic care and should give it a try.
In May of this year, Dr. Kurt Price and his associate came to my place of employment and conducted a Wellness seminar explaining the benefits of Chiropractic care. I have been a patient of Dr. Kurt’s ever since that time. He did a scan of my neck and vertebrae, numerous x-rays and began treatment. After only a few weeks, I began feeling so much better. The pain began to fade and my energy level increased significantly. Due to a family crisis, I had to miss some appointments. My energy level began to decrease and my neck and shoulders began to tense up again. I knew immediately, that I had to get back on track.
While Dr. Kurt is my primary doctor, I have seen all three doctors in this group, and have been pleased with them all. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. When you walk into the office, you feel like you are walking into a family atmosphere and not a stuffy doctor’s office. You begin to recognize or get to know other patients, and I have seen some well-known officials of Memphis in this office.
I strongly recommend Chiropractic Memphis for your chiropractic needs. By the way, I am 58 years old and feel better than I have in a long time.

That night I was in agony. I could not lean over. If there was something on the floor, it was there to stay. A few weeks earlier I had twisted my body the wrong way and had suffered with mild pain but thought it was better. That Friday evening, I sat on a wooden bar stool at a restaurant for more than an hour. When I left the restaurant I knew I was in trouble. By the time I arrived at my brother's home, I was in unbelievable pain. My sister-in-law, who had raved about her Chiropractor for several years, suggested that I call and see if I could be seen the next morning. I had a miserable night, sleeping off and on. I could not get comfortable and could hardly get out of the bed by myself. I called that morning and was told that there were no appointments available. I told the receptionist my story and made an appointment for Monday afternoon, knowing full well that I would not survive until then. About five minutes later the office called back to tell me to come on in, that Dr. Kurt Price would make time to see me.
I arrived in tears. The girls in the office were very kind and helped me as much as they could. It hurt to stand and it hurt to sit. I met with Dr. Kurt and told him about my injuries and the pain I was in. He explained to me what was happening with my back. With his experience, he knew how to treat me, just by listening to my story. It was an added benefit that Dr. Kurt is a Sports Doctor as well. I spent over an hour and a half in the office. He did a full battery of x-rays and performed my first adjustment, and I was able to walk out of the office without crying. I could not believe how the pain had decreased.
Dr. Kurt called to check on me a couple of hours later. I was, and continue to be, amazed at the tender compassion Dr. Kurt has shown me as his patient. His Christian character is very evident in his work.
Dr. Kurt has worked to make a personal health plan for me. It is one that I can manage financially. His goals for me are the same ones I have been considering for myself, but the discovery of my spinal degeneration has now made these important mutual goals. I now have an opportunity to change my life. I am able to prevent further deterioration with continued care by Dr. Kurt, as well as maintaining a total health plan. I am taking that opportunity.
Dr. Kurt shows me personal attention, acting as if I am the only patient he is caring for. It is obvious that he is passionate about his work and the opportunity he has to make a difference in others' lives. He is an encourager and motivator which is exactly what I need!
I can honestly say I am thankful that I sat on that wooden bar stool!
